“V” The Gypsy Cowbelle to Perform During Cowboy Day

Miss V, the Gypsy Cowbelle

On Friday, July 20, Meeteetse Museums will host a free live performance of western and cowboy songs by “V” the Gypsy Cowbelle. The performance will take place outdoors between the Meeteetse Museum and the Bank Museum from 6 – 9 pm. The Meeteetse FFA will be on hand to sell burgers and hot dogs before and during the performance. The proceeds from the sale of the food will benefit the FFA.

V’s music reflects her western pioneer experience. For fifteen years, she honed her homesteader skills on a remote ranch where she became adept at haying and logging with horses, making saddles and banjos with hand tools, canning, leading pack strings through the mountains, and many other tasks.
During her career, V has produced five CDs, performed at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada, and has been featured in books, newspapers, magazines, and on radio. The public is invited to attend free of charge. So bring a lawn chair or a blanket for an evening of great western song! To hear a sample of V’s music, visit www.gypsycowbelle.com.
